Board of Directors Applications Now Open

The Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) is pleased to announce that it is now accepting applications for the position
of Board of Director. This is a significant opportunity to contribute to the development and advancement of hockey
within OHF, helping to guide the future of the sport at all levels.

The OHF is a governing body for hockey responsible for overseeing and promoting the game for approximately
250,000 players, coaches, officials, and volunteers. As part of its continued commitment to excellence, the OHF is
seeking individuals with a passion for the sport and a strong vision for its future. Board members will play a vital role
in setting strategic goals, overseeing policies, and ensuring that the OHF continues to be a leader in the hockey
ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
• Provide governance and strategic leadership to ensure the success and growth of hockey in Ontario.
• Contribute to the development of policies and initiatives that impact all stakeholders.
• Participate in regular board meetings and work on committees as required.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and sustainable environment for hockey at all levels.

Ideal Candidates: The OHF is seeking individuals with diverse backgrounds, skills, and expertise. Ideal candidates will
possess:
• A strong passion for hockey and its role in Ontario's communities.
• Leadership experience in governance or strategic planning.
• A commitment to inclusivity, diversity, and the promotion of hockey as a sport for all.
• Prior experience in non-profit organizations, sports administration, or related fields is an asset.

and a cover letter outlining their qualifications and motivations for applying to the OHF Board of Directors.
