OHF Championship Hosting Bids Now Open for 2027 Events

The Ontario Hockey Federation is officially accepting hosting applications for the 2027 OHF Championship events, with Associations across the province invited to submit bids to host one of Ontario’s premier hockey tournaments.

Hosted annually in communities across Ontario, the OHF Championships bring together top teams from across the province to compete for provincial titles while delivering memorable experiences for athletes, families, volunteers, and local hockey communities.

The 2027 OHF Championships will take place from April 16–18, 2027 and include the following divisions:

• U13 A, U13 AA
• U15 A, U15 AA, U15BB/A
• U18 A, U18 AA, U18 BB/A

Hosting an OHF Championship is more than simply organizing games — it is an opportunity for communities to showcase local pride, engage volunteers, welcome teams from across Ontario, and create a first-class event experience both on and off the ice.

“Having volunteers and parents all come together to help, seeing kids come from far away to play — it’s just that prestigious event that we’re very proud to host,” shared a previous OHF Championship host. “Our volunteers and our community rally together to make it special for everybody” says Barry Harte, President of the Vaughan Rangers Minor Hockey Association.

As part of the hosting opportunity, host teams automatically qualify for the Championships.

All-Association Information Call

To support interested Associations and answer questions regarding the bidding process, the OHF will be hosting an All-Association information call for prospective hosts interested in learning more about the application process, bid requirements, and hosting expectations.

Associations are encouraged to attend to learn more about the hosting process and participate in an open FAQ and discussion session with OHF staff.

Bid applications must be submitted to Scott Stevens at sstevens@ohf.on.ca no later than June 30, 2026. Following the submission deadline, applications will be reviewed by the OHF, with final hosting decisions expected in September 2026.
