Member High Performance Officiating Camp

The Ontario Hockey Federation will be hosting the Member High Performance Camp this weekend in Kitchener. 16 Officials from across the OHF have been invited to attend where they will participate in classroom sessions and receive on-ice evaluations.

Instruction will be led by OHA Director of Officiating Kevin Pollock, OHL Officiating Manager Ken Cox, OHA Officiating Managers Greg Devorski, Chris Ferreira, and Lance Roberts, and NHL Director of Officiating Scouting/Development Al Kimmel.

Emile Studham, featured in this TEDx Talk, will be our guest speaker on Friday afternoon. That evening, 12 Officials will officiate pre-competition games for the World U17 Hockey Challenge, and 4 Officials will officiate an OHL game.

On Saturday morning, Officials will participate in classroom sessions focused on communication and teamwork. In the afternoon, they will attend a fitness and nutrition seminar led by Pursuit Athletics in Guelph. That evening, all 16 Officials will officiate GOJHL games.

The camp will conclude on Sunday morning with a video session of the games from the night before.

Each Official attending will receive their Member High Performance certification by attending the camp.
