Hockey Canada and BFL Canada Announce 2024 Award Recipients

Hockey Canada and BFL Canada announced the country’s best women behind the bench with the BFL Female Coach of the Year award.

The National BFL CANADA Women in Coaching Award winner in the High-Performance Category went to Kelly Paton. Paton is a Woodstock native who has spent the last six seasons as head coach of the women’s hockey team at Wilfrid Laurier University. Growing up she played boys hockey until switching to the London Devilettes organization.

The BFL Female Coach of the Year awards also recognized 21 deserving women in each province and territory for their contributions to coaching hockey!
